Dec 4 – Wreaths across Canada

Today, we participated in the Wreaths across Canada event at Beechwood cemetery, in Ottawa Ontario.  It is the National Military Cemetery.  The event is now in its 6th year with hopes to grow the event across Canada.  It was my 4th time in attendance.  It’s an event that is near and dear to my heart and  as we and hundreds of volunteers lay wreaths on the gravestones of all military graves, we are remembering the festive seasons, the Christmas memories and stories of the past.  Wishing for one more Christmas together.

Sharing my Day 4 with all of you. I would like to extend my sincere thank you to Ali McDougall Edwards creative team members Brandi Kincaid Thompson and Pamela Baldwin for their recent guest appearances in this months story kit: Surprise. You ladies are pure inspiration and this DD layout goes out to you! Let’s not to mention all the other creative team members – You rock! Created my own photo pocket (Pam 🙂 and used the tags to mask photos for my tags (Brandi) Thank you! Also used “This Matters” messy circle from ME kit; chipboard heart and geo tag from Roots kit; busting out the techniques from Hybrid and created a few new messy circles using Gratitude art print words – freebie from Ali as well as another one using word art from the Best Memories digital set. Day 5 – coming soon.. bring on simplicity! HA! Hope you enjoy!
